The system tracks, logs and monitors all touch points including access location, IP address, time and other electronic signatures. The solution effectively thwarts and blocks all access if users do not have permission on the ONDEMAND HEALTHCARE network. HIPAA violations and electronic trace information is instantly made available to the system administrators, authorized review personnel and other healthcare and federal regulatory entities for disciplinary and legal actions.
Security
ONDEMAND HEALTHCARE.net utilizes latest identity and access management technology for electronic fingerprinting across all tiers of its solutions. When you access our site using Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 7.0 or higher, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and VPN technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered Users in your organization. Your data will be completely inaccessible to other entities whether public or private unless you choose to share information with them. ONDEMAND HEALTHCARE provides each User in your organization with a unique signon (user name and password) that must be entered each time a User logs on. ONDEMAND HEALTHCARE issues a session "cookie" whereever applicable only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session "cookie" does not include either the username or password of the user. ondemandhealthcare.net does not use "cookies" to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implements more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs. In addition, ondemandhealthcare.net is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

The privacy information is based on the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles. ONDEMAND HEALTHCARE.net subscribes to European data protection mechanisms under Safe Harbor framework established by The European Commission. Our network ensures secure delivery of an ondemand healthcare ebusiness suite by a software-as-a-service model to customers such as physicians, nurses, hospitals, clinics, patients, etc. to help them manage their clinical and revenue data online. In situations where a new account is set up, we would collect personal identifiable information from you or other entities in the EU, such as your name, e-mail address, company name or telephone number, etc. This will enable us, for example, to set up your account, establish your secure data environment, gather and understand our customer feedback, and improve our offerings. We do not sell, transfer or share personally identifiable information about our customers or visitors to our site. The e-business suite used by our customers provides explicit consent through opt-out choices with access and compliance audit logs to ensure complete confidentiality of information flows between participating providers, necessary to deliver medical care or diagnosis and perform functions required to carry out customers obligations with their patients. ONDEMAND HEALTHCARE.net customers will be able to generate, store, analyze and distribute their own data. The e-business suite of applications allows our customers to maintain accurate, complete and current information of their clients. Likewise, users of Unified Health Plus solution will be able to safeguard access of their data, correct, amend or delete information that they find incomplete or inaccurate and as reasonably possible.
